Where Have I Been?

Holy cow, it is amazing how fast time flies. I completely meant to keep up with this and I have failed. I will attempt again to catch up. We have braved a second Disney World trip and a Disneyland trip. I have had no more children. The twins have started Kindergarten, Sabrina is a full fledge three-nager, and Nicolas is two and stealing hearts.

It has been a huge juggling act balancing my time. Nico goes to school 2 days a week, Sabrina 3 days a week, and of course, Livvy and Mia go every day. You'd think this means that I have more time for me. Somehow it is not the case. I wanted to be a regular volunteer at the library. I went 3 times. I wanted to work out regularly, I have had 3 old lady-pulled-a-muscle-when-doing-nothing back injuries. Those 2 days that I have 5 1/2 hours free, it never seems to be my time. Head scratcher, I know. Thank God for MOPS and my book club. They have kept me sane. Literally.

My husband is wonderful and we celebrated 15 years of wedded bliss this past December. He outdid himself by replacing my lost wedding set. (I lost it just before our 14th anniversary.) Not only did he pick a beautiful ring, he had all 4 kids names engraved on it, he tracked down Fr. Phillip who married up 15yrs ago, and had him bless the ring. He showed me the video. Yes ladies, that is love.
Note from Father Phillip
I am positive that I am missing some great stories but right now, they are escaping me. I will just make a montage of pics to show you how big the kiddos are getting! It's just too much.

Unplanned Hiatus

I wrote this after Sabrina's 2nd birthday and she will be 4 in May. Yikes. Well, here is that unfinished post anyway ....
Wow, what's it been 5 months of no blogging. I really meant to be better than that this year. My goal is always once a month but well, time gets away. When I last posted, it was after our Sea World Trip. That was April. So, let's try this month by month. Try.

House Party

Sweet Boutique
Sabrina turned 2 and we had her party at Gymboree and it was fabulous. We had a Bubble Guppies theme or as she calls it "Guppy Guppy".  Then we had a family get together at our house. On her actual birthday, later that week, the big girls all had stomach bugs. So, we were housebound all day. Later on, mommy and Rina went to Sweet Boutique for cake pops. They were yummy.
Then we had a lovely Mother's Day. The twins participated in their first ever Mother's Day picnic at the school, since they are now in the preschool part.  I got to have lunch with my girls plus hear some very cute songs sung.

We also wrapped up a good year in dance class. The girls really enjoyed this, as did Rina. Ms. Shannon was a great teacher with tons of enthusiasm. The girls did a little number at the end of each class complete with costumes. Toward the end, the girls asked when the would be going back to gymnastics. I think that is what I will look for in the fall.

And now, the playdates begin! We are so lucky to have the new splash pad open up in Telfair. Very short drive away and the added bonus of being at the end of the Courtney's and Kendall's block. This was a MOPS playdate. No shortage of friends at all.

June:
Fairly uneventful, except for the running around to different events. We had VBS at St. Laurence, Kingdom Rock. We love the music and are still singing it. We started swim lessons. We had more play dates at the Splash Pad. We went to three awesome parties, two with super cool themes, a Star Wars party and a Pirate party. The girls had full social calendars, for sure!

Happy birthday, Caroline!

Ms. Courtney, always the helping hand.
