Kids say and do the darndest things!

The conversations today are keeping me giggling. Again, nothing inappropriate, just entertaining.

Today, Mia has taken a liking to the word "great". Everything today is great. She is not using it as an adjective, but more like a declaration. Example:
Mia: "Livvy, eat cereal, okay?"
Livvy: "Okay."
Mia: "Okay, great."

Mia: "Livvy, purple cup? Purple cup, okay?"
Livvy: "No pink cup."
Mia: "Purple cup? Okay?" (Nodding)
Livvy: "Okay."
Mia: "Great!"

Livvy's future as a cheerleader becomes more realized everyday. If you need a boost, just come over, she cheers for visitors.  Arms in a v, yelling "yeah". I am waiting for the day she starts to say "Give me an A".

When Livvy is asked to do something, say put her cup in the sink, she yells "oka-ay". As if she is in another room and she wants you to know she's there. As opposed to standing right next to you.

When Mia is asked to to something, she repeats the order to you, like a waitress.
Mommy: "Mia, can you put the bottle in the sink for Mommy?"
Mia: "In the sink?"
Mommy: "Yes, in the sink."
Mia: "In the sink!" (Nodding) "Okay."

And the biggest event of the day, Sabrina rolled over. She has been reluctant to completely roll over. She will roll to her side, then go back. Something tells me she has Livvy's sense of humor. She knows what we're waiting for and she will tease us for a while. This is my rapidly growing girl right after her effortless roll. Aunt Patti just put her down in the middle of the mat for tummy time. In about 2 seconds she was on her back, in the corner of the mat. If the arch hadn't been there, I think she may have kept going.

Aunt Patti put the headband on Sabrina (approx 4.5 mos)

I love seeing outfits that the twins wore on baby sister. And here is the same outfit on Mia, on the same activity mat. Mia is about 5.5 months in this picture. ~sigh~ Love my girls!
